How It Works
- Copy the hash from the current challenge
- Crack it locally using your preferred tools (hashcat, john, etc.)
- Submit your answer - the plaintext password
- Climb the leaderboard - fastest solves rank highest

Weekly Challenges
Difficulty: ★★★☆☆ (Hard)
Schedule: Every Sunday at 00:00 UTC
Hash Types: MD5, SHA1, SHA256
The entry point for all competitors. Weekly challenges use common hash types and dictionary-based passwords with standard mutations. Perfect for learning the ropes and building your rank.
Monthly Masters
Difficulty: ★★★★☆ (Brutal)
Schedule: 1st of each month
Hash Types: bcrypt, scrypt, NTLM, complex salted
For serious competitors only. Monthly challenges feature slower hash algorithms, uncommon word combinations, and complex rule chains. Cumulative scoring rewards consistency across the month.
Yearly Championship
Difficulty: ★★★★★ (Insane)
Schedule: January 1st
Hash Types: Unknown, nested, custom algorithms
The ultimate test. Yearly championships feature original puzzles, lore-based challenges, and techniques that push the boundaries of password cracking. Champions are immortalized in the Hall of Fame.
Rules
- One correct submission per user per challenge
- Multiple attempts allowed (only correct submissions count)
- Fastest solve time wins tiebreakers
- No sharing answers during active challenges
- Use any tools you like - it's about skill, not hardware
